    Ice cream diffused all over Italy and across France after the marriage of Catherine De' Medici and Henry II of France. From France, ice cream reached more European regions.

  • From 1744 to 1774Nancy Johnson's ice cream freezer
    Starting from 1744, Scottish colonists brought ice cream overseas to North America, and later in 1774 Italo-American Philip Lenzi launched the first ice cream sales in New York.

  • 1846
    Nancy Johnson from New Jersey invented the first portable freezer to bring ice cream to parties and inaugural ceremonies.

  • 1904
    In St.Louis, ice cream makers begin to sell the first ice cream cones at the World's Fair. It's the beginning of industrialized production of ice cream in the US.
